Where To Sell Silver Coins is an independent referral service, not a buyer, pawnshop or dealer. It does not buy, sell, test, grade or appraise coins, and it does not make offers. When you call or send the coin list, we pass your details to an independent buyer in New York, who makes any offer.

Information, not advice

The pages on this site explain how US silver coins are made and valued, using published sources such as the US Mint’s records, federal law and New York City’s rules. They are general information. They are not an appraisal of your coins, and they are not legal, tax or financial advice. For taxes, ask a tax professional; for questions of ownership, ask a lawyer. Laws and rules change: check the source before relying on a rule.

No prices

This site does not publish silver prices or offer figures. Examples on the site use a placeholder spot price. The value of any coin depends on the day’s spot price and on the coin itself, as judged by a buyer.

The independent buyer

The buyer your details go to is a separate, independent business. Any offer, sale or agreement is between you and that buyer alone, on their terms. You are never obliged to accept an offer or to sell. This site is not a party to any sale and is not responsible for a buyer’s offers, conduct or payment.
